Error updating jscript intellisense see error list
I’m curious: how many files you are typically including into your pages?
When fixing syntax error or build errors both the Error List and Intelli Sense keep identifying anomalies after they have been corrected making me double and triple check again and again.
Thus, placing references in the master page is all you need to do. I put a vsdoc reference in the Master Page, why is Intelli Sense not working in a User Control? Thus, there is no way for Visual Studio to guess which master page the user control will end up on.
I believe it is the result of one of the several integrated tools that replicate copies of my code in multiple locations hence confusing the build somehow.
This error regularly forces me to delay deployment of a new version since I again cant build until it magically starts working again.
“Peter” suggested there was a similar issue with CSS files. I saw a lot of questions/feedback/comments regarding paths and URLs.
Given the feedback, this is something we can definitely take into consideration. I’d like to clarify what is supported and not supported by Visual Studio JScript Intelli Sense then ask for feedback: .
I can see a centralized list of references helping this scenario, which leads into the next question… Is there a way to specify a centralized list of references for Intelli Sense? Short of writing your own Script Manager or similar code, there’s no “built-in” way to specify a centralized list of references for Intelli Sense (or for the runtime).
